On 7 September 2026, the Minister of Health of Sri Lanka, Hon. Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa, together with the accompanying delegation, participated in the Inaugural Ceremony of the 79th Session of the WHO Regional Committee for South-East Asia, held in Dili, Timor-Leste.
