Today (11 September), the Embassy welcomed a group of forty-five students from the University of Indonesia who are pursuing degrees in International Relations. The visit was organized as part of their study programme to familiarize the students with the cultures and histories of foreign countries.
During the visit, Embassy officials briefed the students on Sri Lankan culture, history, and economy, as well as the historical and civilizational links between Sri Lanka and Indonesia and the trajectory of Sri Lanka–Indonesia diplomatic relations.
In conclusion, the students were served Ceylon Tea accompanied by authentic Sri Lankan snacks.
